    • Collserola Tower and the Mirador. A communications tower located on one of the city’s highest peaks, which has a total height of 288 metres. It can be reached via the funicular railway and provides visitors with excellent views of the city.
    • Tibidabo. The tallest peak in Barcelona (512 metres). Remarkable views of the city. There is an amusement park and a robot museum.
    • Parc de la Ciutadella. One of the largest parks in Barcelona, with spacious walkways, monuments and sculptures, a lake and the modern art and geology museums (10-minute walk).
    • Port Vell. Shopping hub. Cultural and recreational area during the daytime boasting plenty of nightlife (15-minute walk).
    • Zoo (10-minute walk from Parc de la Ciutadella)

    Architecture
    • One of the most striking aspects about Barcelona is Catalan Art Nouveau, with Antoni Gaudí and his many works at the forefront: the Sagrada Família, La Pedrera, Casa Batlló and Parc Güell (20-25 minutes on the underground).

    • In recent years, Catalonia has become renowned for its cuisine, thanks to chefs such as Ferran Adrià.
